Kiev Ukraine information : Opera in Kiev

If you are in Kiev you have to go to the Opera!

The theater is located in downtown Kiev, near the Khreschatyk st. The beautiful exterior of the building is supported by the majestic interior design. Much of the theater's creative efforts are concentrated on productions of classical Ukrainian and Russian operas and ballets. Professional actors, creative lighting, and bright decorations leave the most memorable impression about Ukraine's dramatic art.

Kiev has one of the most beautiful operas in the world and the prices are unbelievable. I just bought the center two seats in the front row 3 days before the performance for $10.00 per ticket. Prices for a few rows back is less than $5.00 and good tickets can be had for $3.00!

The opera has regular performances of Ballet and Opera, as well as, concerts and events.

The ticket window is outside the main entrance. You frequently can buy good tickets the day of the performance and great tickets a few days before.
